Scouting Your Next Apartment: Lessons from the NFL Draft

The Apartment Hunt Playbook: Lessons from the NFL Draft It’s happening, Pittsburgh! We’ve been talking about it for more than a year, and the NFL Draft is taking place in our city now. Until April 25th, 257 picks over seven rounds will go through the Draft. Coaches and team executives from across the NFL will select top talent, and you’ll be able to watch this exciting process unfold on ESPN, NFL Network, and ABC. Celebrities like Kane Brown, Bret Michaels, and Wiz Khalifa will be in town to headline the Draft, and the event itself is expected to bring in between 500,000 and 800,000 people; that’s around 100,000 to 200,000 people per day. The North Shore and Downtown will see the most visitors, but there’s a chance we’ll all get to meet some new people, thanks to this fun, once-a-year event! The NFL Draft has us thinking about how similar it is to something near and dear to our hearts…apartment hunting. We know what you’re thinking – Lobos always has apartments on the brain – but hear us out! Below are some of the parallels between the Draft and finding an apartment, both of which are processes that involve attention to detail, perseverance, and more. Your “Big Board” Is Your Apartment List Just like how teams rank their prospects, you’re ranking apartments. You’ve got your top picks, your “maybe if nothing else pans out,” and the ones you pretend you’re not interested in, but keep pulling up the listing to look at anyway. Combine vs. Tours NFL prospects compete in the intense Combine to show off their skills. Apartments have a similar process: tours are where units show off their “stats.” And by stats, we mean closet space, new flooring, natural light, and more. Some apartments might look great online but underwhelm in person and vice versa. Others may have a plain appearance in ads but really impress when you see them in person. Needs vs. Best Available Teams debate whether they should draft the best player or fill a need. You’re doing essentially the same thing. Should you go for the gorgeous place that’s over budget, or the practical one that meets your needs? The truth, we’ve found, usually lands somewhere in the middle. Draft Steals Are Hidden Gems Remember when Tom Brady didn’t stand out at the Combine, was drafted in the sixth round, and then became one of the best quarterbacks of all time (sorry, Steelers fans, but you can’t say he isn’t at least top ten)? Every draft has its sleepers. Apartment hunting does too: underrated units that might not have a lot of flair but offer plenty of charm. For example, the kitchen may be classic, but the location is unbeatable. Budget = Salary Cap NFL teams have a cap, while you’ve got rent limits. No matter how much you love an apartment, if it far surpasses your budget, it’s not going to make your roster. That’s why Lobos prides itself on offering affordable luxury. Competition Is Real You might have heard this from us on the phone or during tours: you aren’t the only one “drafting,” or apartment hunting. Other renters are submitting applications and touring daily. Hesitate too long, and your top choice could be gone. Final Pick Is Your Commitment Once a team drafts a player, they’re invested. Signing a lease is the same deal. You’re locked in, which is why giving careful thought to your decision should always be a top priority. That’s also why we’re happy to answer any questions you may have. This is your home, and you should feel confident in your choice. Post-Draft Analysis = Move-In Reality After the draft, everyone grades their picks. After move-in, you’re doing your own review and asking yourself if you made the right choice. Hopefully, you landed a Pro Bowler!
COIN OPERATED LAUNDRY MACHINES
Helpful Tips For Using The Coin-Operated Laundry Machines While technology can sometimes make our lives easier, keeping the washer and dryer in your laundry room coin-operated has its perks! You don’t need a smartphone or device, and you don’t need to set up an account to use the laundry machines. Very convenient! Quick Tips About Using Coin-Operated Machines Keep quarters on hand in a jar or easy to carry coin pouch. Check the coin slide before you begin to load your laundry. It should be empty and should easily slide back and forth. Once you’ve loaded the washer or dryer, insert your coins and gently push the slide to start. If you experience any issues, like a jammed coin slot, you can report it on your resident portal.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE LAUNDRY CARD SYSTEM
All About The Laundry Card System The laundry card system in many of our buildings is meant to make life easier and prevent common issues with coin-operated laundry. We know there are a lot of steps involved for first time users, but don’t worry, if you have any questions along the way, we hope we have addressed them here! You can also always call our main office to troubleshoot or email laundry@lobosmanagement.com. Getting A Laundry Card If you did not get a laundry card when you moved in, or if you need a new one, you can purchase one using one of the two following options. You can stop by the leasing office during regular business hours to get a new laundry card. The cost is $5, and the charge will be added to your tenant portal. Please be sure to call the office before you go, to make sure they have laundry cards in stock and will be there when you arrive. Alternatively, some neighborhoods have a CVA (Card Value Adding) machine that dispenses new laundry cards. CVA Information & Codes Oakland – CVA 12 at The Adrian, 4629 Bayard Street Shadyside – CVA 29 at Highland Manor, 341 S. Highland Ave. Squirrel Hill – CVA 1 at Kamin Apartments, 5536 Kamin Street Bellevue – CVA 7 at Burkey Apartments, 37 Washington Ave. Bethel Park – CVA 9 at Sandy Creek, 6172 Library Rd. North Hills – CVA 44, C Building at Waldorf Park, 103 McKnight Circle You will need to visit the laundry website to purchase a code, then go to CVA machine located at one of our buildings above to redeem your payment code. Use the following steps below to purchase and redeem a $5 code to get a new laundry card. Go to www.lobosmanagement.com/laundry Log in to your existing laundry account or create an account. Make sure your CVA is set to one of the above options that allow you to buy a new money card. Choose the “Buy New MoneyCard for $5.00” option. Make your payment. You will receive a 10-digit payment code that you will need to utilize at the CVA machine. Go to the CVA machine that matches your payment code. Type in your payment code. A laundry card will be dispensed from the machine. Adding Value To A Laundry Card To add value to your laundry card, you will first need to go online to the laundry website to purchase a payment code. Next, you will need to redeem the payment code at one of our CVA (Card Value Adding) machines. Follow the full instructions below. Go to www.lobosmanagement.com/laundry Log into your existing laundry account or create an account. Set your CVA location. If you are not sure where the closest CVA machine is, click here for a full list of CVA locations. Choose the location in your area and click “Set as my CVA”. Add your laundry card to your account. Under the Manage MoneyCards header, choose, “ Add MoneyCard”. Add an alias to identify the card, such as “Jane’s Laundry Card”, then enter the serial number from the back of your laundry card. Select the “Add Value” option, choose the amount ($10, $20, $30 or $40), and click “Pay Now”. You will be prompted to pay via Credit Card. Once you complete your transaction, you will receive a 10-digit payment code. Now you will need to go to the CVA location for which you purchased your code. When you arrive at the CVA machine, you will select the “Add Value” option. When prompted, enter your 10-digit code that you received when you made your online payment. Laundry Card FAQs Q: I bought a code online, but my laundry card still has a zero balance. A: The final step to add the value physically onto the laundry card is to go to the CVA machine location, insert your laundry card, and enter the 10-digit payment code you purchased online. For a full list of CVA locations, click here. The CVA machine is a white box on the wall that says “VTM Coded Value Adder” at the top. It has a card slot and a numerical keypad on it. Q: I cannot identify the serial number on my laundry card. A: The serial number is a 10-digit number on the back of your laundry card, found after the digits “L757”. If your serial number begins with a 62 or 52 and is only 9 digits, a zero will be added to the beginning of the number, making the first 3 digits 062 or 052. Q: I bought a code online, but I can’t find it now. A: To retrieve a previously purchased code, select “Account History” from the top menu bar in your laundry account. Each payment code has a one-time use, but if you purchase a code and forget to write it down, it can be found in your laundry account history. Q: I’ve entered my payment code into the CVA machine and got the message, “invalid code.” A: Double-check to make sure you are entering your payment code correctly. In order for the value to be successfully added to the laundry card, the CVA location, laundry card serial number, and payment code all need to synchronize. If your payment code is correct, double-check your CVA and laundry card serial number for the payment. If you realize that you purchased a payment code for the wrong CVA or serial number, you can contact management, and we can provide a replacement code. Q: The CVA machine is giving an error code. (Example: “Error Code 8922″). A: Contact management. The machine may need to be reset or serviced. Q: Is it possible to get a refund for a code that was purchased, but I am unable to use? A: Each case is different, but if you purchase a code for the wrong laundry card serial number, we can either provide a new replacement code or request a refund back onto your credit
A Guide On What to Look For When Touring An Apartment

March is an exciting time! This excitement is not just because of St. Patrick’s Day, March Madness (for the basketball fans reading this), and the hints of spring happening, but because it’s when leasing season truly starts happening. People are looking towards the future, and, especially in the city limits of Pittsburgh, they’re expecting to move in during the summer. August is an especially popular move in time for downtown Pittsburgh residents. There might be a lot of reasons you want to move, whether for new opportunities, budgetary reasons, or just a change of pace. With Lobos, that moving process can start with clicking on our ad, getting a referral from another resident, driving past a property and deciding you like it – there’s a lot of ways to get in touch with us! From there, you’ll go on a tour of the place, whether virtual or in-person. While we always recommend in-person tours, as that’s how you can get the best feel of the place, virtual tours are great, too! With both types of tours, your leasing agent will walk you through the ins and outs of the apartment, answering all questions. This article will cover what to look for when touring an apartment, no matter whether you’re touring with us (and we hope you are!) or with another company. FIRST THINGS FIRST…THE CHECKLIST Listen, in a lot of ways, we’re old-school at Lobos Management. Yes, we love our technology and Macs and whatnot, but we also know how to appreciate a good, old-fashioned checklist. Whether on paper or on your phone, have questions ready. Know your… Budget – and that includes both rent and utilities. Often, you can call the utility companies and they will provide info about what the average cost is for a specific unit. That said, keep in mind this would just be an estimate; the actual total is always based on your specific usage. Move-in timeline – when are you moving in? This is important, as different apartments are available at different times. Some are available for an immediate move in, but don’t worry, if you let us know your preferred move-in month, we will match you with apartments that meet your availability. Neighborhood – it’s Pittsburgh; each neighborhood is basically a different country! Know what neighborhood suits your needs. Websites like Niche and social media groups can help inform you about what each neighborhood has to offer. What’s important to you – what matters to you in an apartment? Maybe you prefer carpet to hardwood, or you have to have a dishwasher. Perhaps you need to be close to a specific place, such as campus or work. Whatever is most important to you, don’t forget to jot down! Have your questions ready, and know what makes an apartment perfect for you. While we understand that, sometimes, you don’t know exactly what you want until you’re actually in the unit, coming prepared will save you a lot of hassle. FIRST IMPRESSIONS MATTER And that doesn’t just go for a first date! What does the exterior of the building look like? Is it clean, landscaped, and well-lit? The conditions of the sidewalks and entryways matter, especially in icy, snowy Pittsburgh. No one wants to be carrying groceries up stairs that look as though they’re going to crumble at any moment. At Lobos, we’re proud to have a team of people dedicated to “walking buildings.” They follow a strict schedule of inspecting buildings for any issues, and any issues are addressed daily by our talented maintenance personnel. First impressions don’t stop at the outside. What are the hallways of the building like? The smell? The upkeep or the lighting in the common areas is important, too. THE INTERIOR Of course, the big reveal is going to be the interior of the apartment. Here are some things to think about: Natural light – how bright is it inside the apartment? Understandably, if you’re touring on a rainy day, you might not be able to see this aspect. But, you can ask the leasing agent about natural light, as they’ve probably seen the unit at all times of the day, in all weather conditions. Furniture – make sure that your apartment fits all the furniture you can’t live without. You can even ask for a floor plan (at Lobos, we have them for most units) or bring your own tape measure, if you really want to be exact. Sometimes, bedrooms can seem deceptively smaller, when, in reality, they’re good to fit a king-sized bed! Storage – some of us have a ton of clothes and shoes, some of us don’t. If you’re in that former category, we don’t judge! All we’ll say is check the closet space to make sure it can fit all your items, and perhaps a closet organizer or two. Finishes – carpeting or hardwood floors, how updated the unit feels, whether it features stainless steel appliances – all of these details may or may not matter to you. If they do, be sure to take note of them while you tour! Don’t be afraid to ask questions about the heating and cooling systems, as well as what utilities you pay. Clarify any lease details beforehand, and ask any must-know questions! Don’t be afraid to take notes on the apartment, writing down (or typing) what you like or dislike. This goes double if you’re seeing a lot of different places; you don’t want to get your tours confused! At Lobos, the apartments rent quickly, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do a thorough job of inquiring before applying. THE BOTTOM LINE We love showing apartments and working with prospects to find the units that work for them. Give us a call to help us find the perfect apartment for you, and don’t be afraid to ask questions!
Winter Storm Fern: Observations From The Biggest Storm In 16 Years

Fern was quite a storm! Everyone realized that when they awoke Sunday to heavy snowfall, bitter cold, and biting winds. The Pittsburgh Snowpocalypse (as some are calling it) of 2026 was one for the record books—literally. Winter Storm Fern dropped 11.2 inches of snow onto the city, making it the largest snowstorm in sixteen years. Pittsburgh declared a State of Emergency after the record snowfall, not just because of the snow, but because of the extreme cold. Right now, we’re in a deep freeze, with severe weather advisories in effect all week due to the extreme temperatures. It’s not safe to be outside for long periods of time, no matter how sunny it might look. Experts have shared advice for those who can’t jet off to Florida during this cold snap, recommending that people: Limit time outside and cover all exposed skin if you have to go outdoors. Check on your neighbors, if you can, to make sure they are safe and warm. Protect your pets by bringing them inside and ensuring they have dry, warm shelter and unfrozen water. No pets should be outside in this weather, no matter how fluffy. And, of course, you’ve heard from us as well. We’ve asked residents to take precautions such as: Leaving kitchen and bathroom sink cabinets open so warm air can reach pipes and help prevent freezing. Calling us immediately if you hear or suspect a leak, or if you experience HVAC issues. Ensuring all windows and doors are tightly closed to keep drafts at bay. Unfortunately, this cold, part of Winter Storm Fern, is expected to last a couple more weeks—an extended period of time when you’re dealing with temperatures this low. Weather-related doom and gloom aside, what have we learned from this storm? Here are five lessons that were reinforced by this near-record snowfall. Preparation is key. We started hearing about this storm weeks in advance. For a brief, merciful moment, it looked as though it might miss us. But the forecast kept changing and updating, and it ultimately became a direct hit. While the news wasn’t good, having consistent updates about Storm Fern was critical. Being able to monitor the situation helped us prepare at Lobos Management, with our maintenance team working around the clock before the storm. Advance warning made all the difference. That said, no matter how much preparation you do, you can never fully prepare for a storm of this magnitude—as the Pittsburgh plowing system also learned. Communication is critical. Many of you likely saw our emails and social posts before the storm hit. Keeping residents informed in real time is always a goal of ours, as is setting expectations around response times during severe weather. Being able to assist tenants who were diligently submitting requests through their resident portals was especially important during this time. Safety comes first—no matter what. Throughout the storm and the continued cold, we prioritized emergency issues over routine requests. Preventative maintenance truly came in clutch during both the storm and the deep freeze we’re still experiencing. Certain systems are more vulnerable in extreme cold, particularly plumbing and HVAC. We are incredibly grateful to our hardworking, dedicated maintenance team who were out in the freezing temperatures and snow getting the job done. Patience goes a long way—and so does cooperation. Many of us had a difficult time getting to work on Monday morning, and we were impressed by our residents’ patience as we continued to recover from the storm. Neighbors matter. In addition to that patience, we were amazed by how residents—and Pittsburghers as a whole—came together. Neighbors helped dig one another out, even when they weren’t planning to go anywhere. While road conditions are still improving, it’s been encouraging to see people working together to ensure neighbors are warm, safe, and supported. As a landlord, you always hope your residents will get along and enjoy being part of a community. That’s one of the reasons we host tenant events—to encourage communication and connection. We’ve been incredibly proud of how our tenants have supported one another in the aftermath of Winter Storm Fern. Though it’s still freezing out and more snow is in the forecast (sorry to be the ones to break it to you—but maybe this one will miss us!), we wanted to take a moment to say thank you to our residents for once again proving why we’re grateful to have each and every one of them.
Thinking of Off-Campus Housing? Here’s What Students Should Know

If you’re a student considering off-campus housing, this article is for you! Pittsburgh truly is a city built around higher education, with the University of Pittsburgh, Chatham University, Carlow University, Carnegie Mellon University, and Duquesne University all located close together. We know that for many students, being close to campus is a top priority. The Pittsburgh Port Authority offers many bus lines that travel to and through campus areas, which is especially helpful for students—particularly during the winter months. Still, proximity matters. Living closer to campus can mean less time commuting and more time focusing on classes, studying, and campus life. Happily, many of our properties are located directly on bus lines or just steps away. We offer apartments in Oakland, Shadyside, and Squirrel Hill, in addition to properties throughout Allegheny County. Of those neighborhoods, Oakland is typically the closest to campus. Oakland is divided into North and South, with South Oakland tending to be just a bit closer. For example, our property at 326 S Bouquet St in South Oakland is about an eight-minute walk to campus, while our property at 4720 Centre Ave in North Oakland is roughly a fifteen-minute walk. Why Is Off-Campus Housing Popular for Students? While dorms certainly have their appeal, there’s a lot to love about off-campus housing. Many students choose to live off campus for reasons such as: Independence. Off-campus housing allows students to manage their own schedules, responsibilities, and guests. Cost-effectiveness. Sharing an apartment with roommates can often be more affordable than living in a dorm. More space and privacy. Larger bedrooms, closets, and living areas can make a big difference in day-to-day comfort. Life skills. Managing groceries, bills, cooking, and chores help students build valuable “adulting” skills over time. Additionally, off-campus housing is often more convenient for car owners and offers much more inventory. You can choose an apartment near your favorite restaurants, shops, and study spots—something that isn’t always possible with dorm living. Before renting off campus, there are a few important things students should know. Lease Terms When it comes to your lease, it’s important to understand the timing. At Lobos, our leases are generally twelve months long. While academic years typically begin in August and run shorter than twelve months, your lease will extend beyond the school year. We do offer the option to sublet if you need to move out at the end of the academic year—just be mindful of this difference when planning ahead. Features That Matter Before you begin your apartment search, take time to identify which features matter most to you. Off-campus housing options, like many of our units, often offer more closet space and storage than dorms. It’s helpful to make a list of preferences, such as building layout, internet availability, laundry access, and overall amenities. Our leasing team can use this information to help match you with an apartment that fits your needs. When to Start Searching Leasing season typically begins earlier than many students expect—often in late fall for the following year. We’ve seen students start searching as early as September for next year’s housing! All that to say, the earlier you start, the better, as we often begin renting for the next academic year well before spring. When you reach out to us, it helps to have the following information ready: Your desired move-in date. Coordinate your lease start with your academic schedule; that way, you have time to settle in before classes begin. This is especially important for students moving from out of state—or out of the country. Number of bedrooms needed. Not sure yet? That’s okay. We offer a range of options from studios to multi-bedroom apartments. Preferred neighborhood. Oakland, Shadyside, and Squirrel Hill are especially popular with students. Knowing your preference helps us narrow the search. Budget. Sharing a price range allows us to find options that make sense for you. With a wide variety of units, we’re able to accommodate many different budgets. Starting your search early and knowing what matters most to you will make the process much smoother—whether you’re an incoming student, already living in Pittsburgh, or a current tenant looking to transfer or renew. We’re confident we can help you find the right apartment to call home. Ready to Find Your Off-Campus Apartment? Whether you’re searching for your first off-campus apartment or planning your next move, we’re here to help make the process easy. Our leasing team is happy to answer questions, walk you through available options, and help you find a home that fits your budget, lifestyle, and location preferences. Start your search early and secure your spot near campus—we’d love to help you find your next home. To contact us, click here and scroll to the bottom to find our “Contact” form.
Looking Ahead: Our New Year’s Resolutions at Lobos Management

Can you believe it’s almost New Year’s already? It seems as though 2025 has flown by, making room for whatever 2026 brings. It feels like just yesterday we were hosting move-in events for our new tenants back in August! At Lobos Management, we always keep our eye on the prize when it comes to our values and goals. In this blog, we’ll share some of our “New Year’s Resolutions” as a company. We aim to keep many things the same while making meaningful changes in other important areas. As a reminder, our values are rooted in our MISSION and VISION. Our MISSION is to bring value to our tenants through competitive rent and accessible, reliable customer service. We strive to be involved, available, and grounded in the belief that no one is above any job. Our VISION is to offer tenants and team members exceptional value and to show them that they are truly valued. We do this by prioritizing safety, security, and fair housing, while always striving for growth—both personally and professionally. With that in mind, here are our New Year’s Resolutions at Lobos Management: We will refine our leasing strategy. Our goal is to help people find the perfect place for them. We consistently train our leasing agents to understand the unique needs of prospective residents. Finding an apartment is not a one-size-fits-all experience—what works for one person may need to be adjusted for another, and we welcome that flexibility. We will elevate resident communication by prioritizing our Tenant Portal as the primary hub for updates, requests, and important information. The Tenant Portal helps keep communication clear, consistent, and easy to access, while still allowing residents to reach us by text, email, or phone when needed. By using the Tenant Portal, we’re able to share important information more efficiently and ensure nothing gets missed—because clear communication is key. We plan to create more community moments through resident events. As you may have noticed, we’ve been hosting many resident events—and that trend will continue. We enjoy engaging with our residents and meeting face-to-face the people we often speak with over the phone or online. We have a lot of fun, and we know you do too. We want to support and value our team even more. Staying aligned with our values, we are committed to continuing to invest in and support our team. Providing the best experience for our residents starts with providing strong support and value to our employees. We want to enhance the move-in experience for our residents. Moving is stressful—we all know that. While the process itself can be burdensome, we want to ease that experience as much as possible. Our goal is to ensure residents know exactly what to expect before moving in, making the process as simple as picking up keys at the office. Be on the lookout for a New Renter’s Toolkit coming soon, designed to clarify and enhance the entire move-in process. We also want to enhance the move-out experience. Moving out can be just as stressful as moving in, and we want to provide the same level of clarity and guidance. Move-out expectations will also be clearly outlined in our upcoming Toolkit and on our website. We plan to stay proactive with maintenance. Maintenance is something we take very seriously. We use dedicated software to track and manage all maintenance requests, and we will continue to be proactive—showing up when and where residents need us. We will listen and adapt. While we’ve been in business for over fifty years, we haven’t stayed successful by doing things the same way forever. Being responsive to changing needs means adapting when necessary. We are committed to listening to both residents and employees about what’s working—and what isn’t. As we head into the new year, we’re excited about what’s ahead and grateful for the residents and team members who make Lobos Management what it is. These resolutions reflect our commitment to growth while staying true to our core values. We look forward to continuing to improve, adapt, and invest in our communities, our properties, and our people. Thank you for being part of our journey—whether you’ve been with us for years or are just getting started. Here’s to another year of progress, connection, and living out our promise every day: Where You’re Valued.
Holiday Apartment Etiquette: Celebrating Together, Respectfully

The holidays bring a ton of excitement to apartment living—and more than a little extra activity. Guests, deliveries, and packages all increase during this festive time of year. We’re part of the fun too! After all, we’re running our Holiday Lights Contest through December 31, giving you the chance to win $100 off your rent just for decorating your apartment. With all of this in mind, it’s important to remember a few apartment etiquette tips. While the holidays are joyful, they can also be stressful for many. The tips below are holiday-tailored and designed to help keep spirits bright—not just yours, but your neighbors’ as well. NOISE AWARENESS: BE MINDFUL OF VOLUME Music, TV, and gatherings can be both joyous and noisy—and sound travels easily in apartments. Your unit is attached to others (sometimes two or three, depending on the building), so it’s important to be mindful of volume, especially after 10:00 p.m. While we fully support celebrating, we also want to help prevent issues between neighbors who prefer a quieter environment. A WORD ON GUESTS AND GATHERINGS Keep guest numbers reasonable for your space. While inviting your entire family and friend group may sound fun, your studio apartment might disagree. Managing the number of guests helps control noise and, if you live on an upper floor, minimizes excess stomping for neighbors below. Please also be mindful of shared entrances and common areas. If you’re hosting several guests, ask them to street park or park somewhere other than the lot. If a vehicle does not have a Lobos parking tag (which are only issued to residents and employees) and someone calls for a tow, it will be towed—definitely a holiday buzzkill. The same goes for hallways and entrances. Avoid piling shoes, blocking doorways, or crowding common spaces. Remind your guests that these are shared areas and that building rules and quiet hours still apply. If guests are staying overnight, ensure sleeping arrangements do not block exits or heaters. Also, try to keep sleeping areas elevated—sleeping directly on the floor can get quite cold. DECORATION CONSIDERATION Hey, we love holiday decorations. We give away hundreds of dollars in rent credits each year through our Holiday Lights Contest because we genuinely enjoy seeing your creativity. Winners are randomly selected—because choosing favorites would be impossible. That said, a little consideration goes a long way. Extremely bright lights, noisy décor (think motion-activated singing Santas placed in hallways), or anything that poses a fire hazard or blocks common spaces should be reconsidered. Festive is great—safe and neighbor-friendly is even better. DELIVERIES, DELIVERIES, AND MORE DELIVERIES! If you’re anything like us, online shopping ramps up during the holidays. While it makes gift-giving easier, it also comes with a few apartment-living considerations. Package pileups in lobbies aren’t fun—for residents, for our cleaning staff working to keep spaces looking great, or for delivery drivers trying to squeeze in just one more box. Please pick up your packages promptly. If you’re worried about being away or schedule conflicts, consider using an Amazon pickup location. Amazon Lockers are often nearby and can be a convenient alternative. Click here for more information on Amazon pick-up locations. As the holiday season continues, a little extra awareness goes a long way in keeping our community comfortable, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. Being mindful of noise, guests, décor, and deliveries helps ensure that all residents can celebrate in their own way—whether that means hosting gatherings or enjoying some well-earned quiet time. We’re grateful to be part of such a vibrant community and love seeing the festive spirit throughout our buildings. Thank you for doing your part to make apartment living positive and respectful during this busy season. We hope you enjoy the remainder of the holidays, have fun participating in the Holiday Lights Contest, and finish out the year feeling at home. Happy holidays from all of us at Lobos Management!
