Making Payments At Lobos Management
Here at Lobos Management, rent is due on the 1st of the month. In this guide, we’ll go through some of the must-knows when it comes to paying rent with Lobos, including how to make payments and what form of payments we accept after your first month’s rent has been paid.
HOW TO MAKE PAYMENTS
At Lobos, you can make payments in one of two ways:
1. Via Tenant Portal. This is the preferable way to pay, as it is the most convenient and posts immediately to your account. You’re able to log into your tenant portal after your application is approved and before you move in. Your leasing agent will invite you to the resident portal via email and, from there, you are able to get your account set up. When you log into your portal, you’ll see “PAYMENTS” as a category. Click that, and you’ll be able to pay online.
Here are the forms of payment you can use on the portal:
- Bank Account. You are able to use your bank account to pay your rent. This incurs a $1.49 convenience fee.
Additionally, we offer you the option to use autopay. You can fill in your bank information after clicking “Set Up Autopay” on your home page (listed with your balance). It is not mandatory, but it is available if you choose.
- Credit Card. You are able to pay through the tenant portal with a credit card. Note: this will incur a 2.99% service fee. So, if you’re paying $1,000, you’ll pay a service fee of $29.90. We at Lobos Management do not receive this service fee or benefit from it in any way; this fee is charged by the payment processor and goes to them. We allow tenants to use Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. We are unable to accept American Express payments.
- Debit Card. If you use your debit card as a credit card on the portal (i.e. fill in your details in the portal, but click the “Credit Card” option), you’ll incur a 2.99% service fee. Again, we allow Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
2. Via Mail. You are able to pay via check or money order through our post office address. The Lobos Management PO Box address for payments varies based on where you live. When you move in, your leasing agent will provide you with this address. Additionally, the payment address is listed on your lease.
Here are the forms of payment we accept via mail. Note: your rent is due on the 1st, so make sure you mail your rent ahead of time to ensure we receive it by or before the first of the month.
- Money Order. We accept money orders as a form of payment. The fee charged depends on the institution from which you get your money order. When filling out your money order, make sure to include your account number and your building/unit number.
- Check (cashier’s or personal). We accept checks—whether cashier’s or personal. Again, you’ll want to include your account number and building/unit number on your check.
For your security, we do not accept cash, payments at the office after move-in, non-certified funds for first month’s rent, or any credit/debit card or bank information over the phone. These policies help keep all payments secure, transparent, and accountable for everyone.
